About Apple Blossom
Apple Blossom School is one of four schools in the Twin Hills Union School District. We serve approximately 300 students from Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Apple Blossom School is nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of western Sonoma County. The school environment is friendly, supportive, and safe for our students. Parents are valuable partners in the education of our students.
Our school staff is comprised of fifteen credentialed classroom teachers, one education specialist, two intervention teachers, a speech and language therapist, a part time counselor, a library technician, a music teacher, a P.E. teacher, an art teacher, a psychologist, a nurse, an English language learner assistant, and additional support staff such as classroom assistants, yard-duty aides, and wonderful office personnel.
The rigorous and engaging academic program is enhanced by an abundance of enrichment programs including, P.E., music, art, storytelling, poetry, and gardening. Students at all grade levels take field trips that are integrated into classroom instruction which provides them opportunities to venture out into the larger community.
We have implemented social-emotional learning programs (i.e.: Toolbox, Zones of Regulation, student-led assemblies) to support students in solving conflicts and building relationships.
We use a balanced approach to technology as a tool for learning. Students can access our reading and math programs at school and at home. Third through fifth grade classes have Chromebooks for each student, and Kindergarten through third grade have Chromebooks or iPads available for their use.

Parent Involvement at a young age plays a significant role in a child's development. At Apple Blossom School, we are proud of our parents that run the Twin Hills Apple Blossom Education Foundation and our parent volunteers in the classroom. There are many ways parents can volunteer; in person, donating time to help teachers from home, become a classroom parent, etc. Please connect with your student's teacher to find out the best ways to get involved. If you are interested in doing more with the Twin Hills Apple Blossom Education Foundation, please reach out to foundation@twinhillsusd.org.
Apple Blossom also has an After School Care Program with an early drop off time of 7:30am and a late pick up time of 5:30pm. Please review the After School Program page for program details and rates.
